Mihai Moldovan founded NOSTRADOVUS from the idea that fashion can become a form of modern armour, objects created to protect and amplify the presence of the individual wearing them. Self-taught in design and professionally trained as a specialist psychiatrist, Moldovan brings to the brand a perspective deeply connected to the psychology of presence, power and visual impact.
Inspired by the dark elegance of Transylvania and the mysticism associated with Nostradamus, a name reinterpreted through the integration of “DOV,” derived from his surname, Moldovan, NOSTRADOVUS merges mystery with contemporary sculptural forms.
Every NOSTRADOVUS piece is handcrafted in Romania using Italian leather, velvet and carefully selected premium materials. Produced exclusively made-to-order, the creations are constructed by hand as architectural and sculptural silhouettes designed to function as extensions of personal identity.
